Linda graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Architecture in 1995. It has been since 2009 that she concentrated on her passion for painting and making it a full-time career, which has proven hugely successful. Having exhibited with galleries and exhibitions in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, we are particularly pleased to have persuaded Linda to bring her wonderful landscapes to the North East and exhibit at the Ballater Gallery. Linda's paintings are incredibly popular and she prefers to paint bold landscape interpretations, mainly from places she has visited in Scotland and France. Working in oils with a wide variety of brushes, knives and other implements, Linda vividly creates a rich and evocative world of colour, movement and terrific texture.
Gallerist comment - 'Linda divides her time between Scotland and South West France, and I feel that one can see this in her beautifully textured oils, which show an incredible ability in capturing light and colour. I think Linda's modern twist in landscape painting has also resulted in her paintings selling so well throughout the country'.
