Georgina McMaster's work is mainly based on animals, including Scottish wildlife and a collection of wildlife from her trip to Indian in 2011. She has also studied and focused her work on animals from Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig. Georgina's work is predominately oil on canvas and her intent is to portray the character and soul of the animal, particularly in their eyes and the softness of the fur or feathers.
Gallerist Comment - 'Although a highly qualified artist from both Edinburgh College of Art and Bath Spa University, Georgina’s work is painted so naturally and freely. Her worldwide travels have undoubtedly helped her knowledge of the animal world. Having visited her and her very young family, I found her to be natural, fun and relaxed, and I really see these characteristics in her incredibly popular paintings'.
